Frequently Asked Questions

This page is regularly updated with questions that are often asked. Please make sure to read through it before submitting an e-mail.

Q: I ordered the product and haven’t received my confirmation e-mail, what should I do?

A: Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Have you already purchased a product from the WPAffiliateGuide.com domain? If so, then you will not receive a separate confirmation email address. The new product you purchase will automatically appear under the ‘Your Purchases’ tab in your dashboard.

  2. Make sure you haven’t paid with an echeck. You will not receive your confirmation email and the product will not appear in ‘Your Purchases’ until the echeck has cleared and PayPal confirms it; this generally takes 3-7 business days.

  3. If you haven’t paid with an echeck, please make sure you’ve waited at least an hour (sometimes PayPal or cyberspace in general experiences delays), then double check your junk or spam mail folder.

  4. If none of the above apply to you, then you will need to visit the password reset page, enter your PayPal email address and check your inbox for the password reset email. Once that email arrives, click on the confirmation link and wait for the new password. Once your new password has arrived, you may log in and download your product(s) according to the download instructions

  5. In rare cases, the above solutions may not work. If you fall into this small category, please submit the contact form.

Note: Your emails will be sent to the PayPal address used for purchase (i.e. the email address you used to sign in and pay with).

Q: When I try to log in, I’m told my username or password are incorrect, what should I do?

A: Make sure that you’re entering your PayPal e-mail address in all lowercase for your username and using the password you received in the confirmation message with no spaces.

If you’re still receiving the error, please have your password reset automatically. The username is your PayPal e-mail address (in all lowercase). You’ll receive an e-mail with a link to reset the password, click on it to reset the password and send it to you in an e-mail message.

Please remember that these emails will arrive at the email address specified in your profile. This is your PayPal email address unless you’ve changed it.

If you continue to experience problems logging in, please submit the contact form and be as specific as possible about the error you’re receiving.

Q: How do I gain access to the private forum?

A: As outlined in the sales letter, the How to Build Affiliate Websites Using WordPress course includes the ebook, access to the videos, loyalty bonuses, and future updates. Some customers, however, prefer a more one on one approach to learning — as a result, the private member’s only forum was created and is available as an upgrade.

Members who’ve purchased the forum upgrade will see the link to the forum appear in the navigation menu once logged in.

If you would like to purchase the forum upgrade, please ensure that you’re a current How to Build an Affiliate Website Using WordPress course owner in good standing and are logged in, then access the private forum upgrade page.

Q: Do you have any example WordPress site’s that don’t look like a blog?

A: You’re looking at one. The WordPress Affiliate Guide website is completely built using WordPress, yet it doesn’t have the characteristics of a blog.

If you’re hoping I’d share some niche affiliate websites with you, please understand that it wouldn’t be prudent. The sample website used during the training is only revealed to current How to Build an Affiliate Website Using WordPress course owners.

Q: I’ve tried downloading the files, but the page loads nothing but gibberish or when I try to open the .zip file, I receive an error that it’s corrupted. What went wrong?

A: Some browsers will, improperly, try to read the .zip file as an HTML page and as a result it will load gibberish. Sometimes the .zip file will be downloaded, but it will not be downloaded properly and an error message will result.

Instead of clicking on the download link directly, right click on the link and depending on your browser, choose the “Save Target As” or “Save Link As” from the menu.

When the window prompts you for a name to save the file, make sure you finish the name with .zip and click OK to start the download process. This should allow you to fully download the .zip file without the errors.

Q: Does the WP Affiliate Guide have an affiliate program?

A: Yes, however, it is currently only open to WP Affiliate Guide customers in good standing.

Q: I contacted you through the form on this site and it’s been a few days, why haven’t you responded?

A: The most likely reason is that the e-mail address you provided doesn’t work. Please try again, but make sure to double check that the e-mail address you provide is valid. In some cases, it may be that the e-mail address provided isn’t properly delivering the response; please contact me with an alternate email address. Also, make sure that your question isn’t already addressed above.
